Vision, Mission, and Values

Vision

To ultimately inform emerging laws and policies that address Canadian white-collar crime.

We envision laws, policies, and corporate ethics practices that effectively address white-collar crime. Laws that are proactive rather than reactive are ones which work in practical market and industry conditions, and that create more accountability for perpetrators and more avenues to protect victims of these offences.

Mission

To advocate for white-collar crime awareness and bridge academic and industry expertise in various areas that contribute to understanding it.

We believe that by starting at this point, while also encouraging more future thought leaders, we can begin to see more effective management of white-collar crime issues in Canada.

Values

Credibility and Integrity.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in our work and interactions. Fairness and ethical behaviour are at the core of all that we do. This encompasses transparency and accessibility to all.

Collaboration.

We believe that white-collar crime requires an interdisciplinary approach. Therefore, we always aim to bridge various industries and sectors with both academic and public realms.

Ambition.

We have lofty goals. To see these goals to fruition, we understand the importance of fostering an environment that equips each person will the right tools to take initiative with their ideas.

Innovation.

Changing the way white-collar crime is addressed in Canada takes innovation. We are not wholly reinventing wheels, but our interdisciplinary approach is an innovative twist!
